GENERAL PROCESS

  • Your employer may be our company or directly a healthcare facility in the U.S., depending on the hiring model

    • If you work with us (subcontracted), we will be your official employer and assign you to a health center.

    • In some cases, you may be hired directly by the hospital.

    In both scenarios, you will have direct communication with our team (for support, human resources and administrative matters), as well as with the center where you will work daily.

  • Yes, you are entitled to vacation days depending on your employment contract. You can travel outside the U.S. and return, as long as your TN visa and employment status remain valid.

  • With complete documentation, TN visas can be issued quickly—often at the port of entry (for Canadians) or within a few weeks through a U.S. consulate (for Mexicans).

  • Your employer is responsible for providing a safe work environment. U.S. labor laws also protect you, and you have rights as a legal worker under TN status.

  • You can resign, but this may affect your visa status, as TN visas are employer-linked. You will have to leave the U.S. if you don't have another job offer

  • Your salary depends on the state and your level of experience. It will be clearly specified in your job offer and contract before you accept the position.

  • It depends on the employer. Some offer temporary accommodation or assistance.

  • Costs may include credential evaluation, English language proficiency testing (if required), visa fees, and travel expenses. Some employers or agencies may cover some or all of these costs. If not, MHHR is partnered with KANAN CAPITAL (SOFOM), which can help you finance these expenses.

  • The TN visa process is relatively quick compared to other visas. Once all the documents are ready, approval can take a few weeks. However, preparing credentials, licenses (such as the NCLEX), and documentation can take several months.

    The total process usually takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the preparation for the English exam and the NCLEX.

  • You will need to retake the NCLEX. You cannot work as a registered nurse in the U.S. until you pass it and obtain the required license.

  • At MHHR, we don't charge fees throughout the entire process. However, some of the necessary requirements—such as the visa, English language certifications, or the NCLEX-RN exam—may involve costs that vary depending on the certification option you choose. In some cases, these expenses are covered in full or in part by the employer.

  • You can apply, but you are required to certify your English proficiency during the process, either through IELTS Academic, TOEFL, or PTE, in order to obtain the license and complete the visa process.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on the type and complexity of your project. After an initial consultation, we'll provide you with a clear quote with no hidden costs.
